Matt McGuire is the founder and general manager of Delaware Valley Turf. He is a 1996 graduate of Penn State University and earned a Bachelor of Science in Agronomy-Turfgrass Science. After graduating, he spent a year on the golf course before becoming a teacher of Chemistry and Physics in the School District of Philadelphia for 9 years. He earned his Masters degree from Temple University in 2001. He left education and started Delaware Valley Turf in 2005.
Matt Fisher is the manager of the lawn care division and is responsible for the scheduling and operations of the lawn care routes. Matt is Penn State University educated in the Two Year Turfgrass Management Program and worked for 1 year as an Assistant Superintendent at a golf course outside of New York City before relocating back to the Delaware Valley in 2013.
Terrence Nolan is an integral part of the operations at Delaware Valley Turf. He currently coordinates operations between the product sales and lawn care division. He is a 1994 graduate of the California University of Pennsylvania. He has experience working on one of the finest golf courses in the Philadephia Suburbs.
Mike Brinton is the route manager of the Western region. Mike has 10 years experience in golf course management. He is licensed and educated from the University of Georgia in Turf Grass Management.
Mike Stranix is the route manager of the Northwestern region. Mike is a 2013 graduate of Delaware Valley College with a BS in Agronomy-Turfgrass Science. Additionally, Mike was an Assistant Golf Course Superintendent before he joined us in March 2016.
Ed is the route manager for the Southwest. Ed is a graduate of Florida Southern College with a degree in Horticulture. Ed has a background as a director of grounds at several facilities in the Philadelphia suburbs.
